Notice of Inadvertently Misidentified Name of Toong Chai English Presbyterian Church

Toong Chai English Presbyterian Church of English Presbytery has received feedback from Toong Chai Presbyterian Church (TCPC) Board that the latter's name "Toong Chai Presbyterian Church" has been mistakenly referred to as Toong Chai English Presbyterian Church (TCEPC) in correspondence, articles, publicity materials for events or speaking engagements; they have cited and shared examples.

To refresh all our member churches and members in the Presbyterian Church in Singapore(PCS), TCPC has ceased to be a member of PCS in 2014, TCPC and TCEPC are thus two separate entities per se. It is regrettable to have confusion caused by the mistakenly referred name to TCPC on the aforesaid name incidents.

TCPC has requested us to notify all our PCS churches and members to note the difference between the two churches’ name and to address or refer to TCEPC correctly as requested.

Appreciate all our PCS Churches' and members' support to note the difference in the aforesaid names and to address or refer to TCEPC, the proper name to use going forward.
